We are proud of the working relationship that we have developed with the nearby US military bases – RAF Mildenhall, RAF Lakenheath and RAF Feltwell. Over the years, we have found many homes for our American friends to ensure they settle as quickly as possible. We liaise with the USAF Housing Management Office and undertake a pre-inspection of your property to ensure it passes a USAF inspection first time. We also prepare Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements (AST’s), compliant with American market requirements.

Tenants are provided with a clear and comprehensive photographic inventory at the beginning of the tenancy agreement; this includes the condition of the property and any of the contents. At the end of the agreement, the tenant may refer to this to ensure the return of their security deposit. We are also members of both the UKALA and The Property Ombudsman.

As a tenant, it is your right to live in a property that is in a healthy state. Here at Shires Residential we ensure the properties we let are safe and any maintenance issues are dealt with pro-actively through our reliable contractors. All information regarding the maintenance and condition of the property you are renting will be clearly outlined in your tenancy agreement, which we will be happy to talk you through upon request before you secure the property.
